Our mission is to create a sense of community for local families, by offering a thoughtfully designed, social, safe, and clean environment for young children to play, learn, interact, and grow.

a note from our Founder

The idea for Small Town Play Café was born from my own experience as a parent.

After spending some time at home with my two boys, now ages 3.5 and 5, I found the children’s entertainment options in my area left something to be desired for the accompanying adults. What I found, time and again, were environments designed entirely for children—fun for them, but uncomfortable, overstimulating, or simply uninviting for parents. I knew there had to be a better way.

Small Town Play Café® offers a unique blend of café and play, thoughtfully designed with adults and children in mind. The space seamlessly combines an enriching play area for children aged six months to six years with a comfortable café for adults, featuring gourmet specialty coffee, food, treats and more. This innovative space has quickly become a cherished destination for local families.

With a background in scaling high-growth tech organizations and teams, I recognized the importance of building a concept that was not only thoughtful and community-driven, but also operationally sound and scalable. We opened our first location in 2024 to an overwhelmingly positive response from our community. Over the past year or so, we have built a strong culture while we set up solid operational processes. We are now ready to grow the brand with committed local owners through franchising.
